Our Clinical Negligence Department is dedicated to providing compassionate and expert guidance to families affected by medical negligence. We assist clients in navigating the complexities of 'no win no fee' claims, ensuring they receive the support necessary throughout the claims process. Our team specializes in various aspects of Clinical Negligence, including but not limited to birth injuries, cosmetic surgery, and medical misdiagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:- Report directly to the Department Director.
- Maintain a professional and proactive approach while demonstrating strong client care skills.
- Assist with casework, managing a diverse range of Clinical Negligence cases.
- Engage with clients to gather instructions and prepare cases effectively.
- Handle correspondence related to ongoing cases.
- Manage a challenging caseload from inception to resolution.
- Prepare essential documents, including witness statements and evidence processing.
- Attend client conferences and court hearings as required.
- Ensure accurate timekeeping and compliance with file management protocols.
- Implement recommendations from monthly file reviews promptly.
- Demonstrated passion and experience in a wide range of Clinical Negligence matters.
- Strong academic credentials, ideally with a Law degree.
- Previous legal experience as a Clinical Negligence Paralegal or Advisor.
- Comprehensive understanding of Clinical Negligence and CPR Laws.
- Business acumen with the ability to promote the firm effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse individuals.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with the initiative to seek guidance when necessary.
- A committed team player who is self-motivated and professional.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and document management.
