Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Jobs for Humanity. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for placing point-of-sale (POS) materials in designated areas of retail stores, ensuring that all promotional materials are accurately displayed and easily accessible to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sign into the store and introduce yourself to key store contacts
  • Liaise with store colleagues to locate previously delivered POS materials
  • Place bollard covers, promotional barkers, and other POS materials in pre-arranged sections of the store
  • Use a stepladder to place media at height, as required

Requirements:

  • Ability to get to the agreed store(s) every Thursday to complete your visit
  • Flexibility to work between 6am and 4pm on Thursdays, with varying hours each week
  • Ownership of a smartphone (Android or Apple) to report visits in store
  • Comfortable using a stepladder to place media at height
  • Competence in using and navigating an app-based system
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with POS materials is essential
