Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of transactional finance and accounting professionals, promoting their personal and professional development, and ensuring that work is handled appropriately.
- Managing the group consolidation process and ensuring the required level of insight and requisite controls are in place.
- Developing internal accounting systems and processes and driving continuous improvements.
- Playing a pivotal role in harmonizing accounting processes with new acquisitions.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining an internal financial audit and compliance program.
- Supporting ongoing financial planning and analysis activities.
- Reporting to and supporting the Finance Director.
What You Will Need to Apply:
Applications are welcomed from qualified accountants (ACA or ACCA) who are serious about progressing their careers in a fast-paced and dynamic business. Strong communication skills are also a prerequisite as the role requires relationships to be cultivated across the business and in multiple locations to ensure a controlled and well-communicated accounting process nationally. Strong systems skills and a great eye for process would also be helpful as the post holder will be empowered to instigate change across the entire finance function.
