About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Lead Developer to join our team at V3 Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the full development cycle of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, from conceptualization to deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Development Team: Manage and lead a team of developers and coordinate project tasks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Design and Implement CRM System: Design, develop, and implement the CRM system in alignment with business needs and requirements.
  • Recruit and Manage Team: Advertise job openings, screen candidates, and recruit a top-tier team of developers for the CRM project.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and support system enhancements.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the CRM system.
  • Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Take part in code reviews, and use this as an opportunity to create a deeper understanding of best practices.
  • Database Design and Maintenance: Designing and updating software databases.
  • Server Management: Update and maintain servers.
  • Testing and Quality Checks: Performing trials, testing and quality checks to ensure strong functionality and optimisation.
  • Issue Resolution: Debugging and resolving issues.
  • System Maintenance and Improvement: Maintaining and supporting systems and improving the performance of existing software.
  • Documentation: Producing user and technical documentation.
  • Proactive Issue Highlighting: Being proactive in highlighting issues to the team.
  • Business Requirements Review: Reviewing business requirements to understand the business needs.
  • Technical Solutions Implementation: Implementing technical solutions.
  • Technical Quality: Striving for a high level of technical quality.
Requirements
  • Commercial Experience: At least 5 years of commercial experience using PHP (OOP).
  • Microservice Architecture: Strong understanding of microservice architecture and design patterns.
  • JavaScript Framework: At least 3 years of commercial experience in or similar JavaScript framework (Angular/React).
  • Laravel Framework: Solid knowledge of Laravel (or other PHP frameworks).
  • REST API's: Experience crafting REST API's.
  • Front-end Development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
  • Database Management: Ability to write optimised complex queries and maintain MySQL databases.
  • Server Management: Ubuntu and Nginx/Apache server management.
  • Version Control: Experience with version control (ideally GIT).
  • Documentation: Experience writing and maintaining appropriate documentation for each stage of the software development lifecycle.
  • Agile Project Management: Agile project management software (ideally Jira).
  • CI/CD: Working knowledge of Continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment (CI/CD).
