This position operates in a hybrid model, providing flexibility while maintaining a connection to our operational risk leadership.
Importance of the Role
As a Technology Risk Management Lead, you will be responsible for guiding the First Line of Defense and collaborating with key stakeholders in 2LOD and Internal Audit to enhance risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units to identify and escalate risks, ensuring thorough assessment and evaluation of associated controls.
- Monitor technology-related issues, ensuring that any gaps or weaknesses in controls are addressed with effective remediation strategies.
- Influence and implement industry-standard technology risk management practices.
- Develop insights into technology risk to drive management actions aimed at improving the technology control environment.
- Partner with Technology and Security teams to conduct root cause analyses for significant IT incidents.
- Engage actively in the Global Watchtower process, working with stakeholders to understand the evolving threat landscape and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in technology or cyber risk management.
- Possession of a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CRISC, CISM).
- A proactive approach to risk reduction and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with IT risk and control frameworks such as COBIT.
