Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner Acute and Ambulatory Medicine

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic nurse practitioner to join our team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding care to patients referred to the acute medical unit, a 58-bedded unit catering for all medically unwell patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work a variable rota/shifts pattern to ensure nursing cover on the unit 7 days a week.
  • Develop and deliver advanced level nursing skills.
  • Utilize patient group directions (PGDs) in the administration of medicines.
  • Contribute to change management and team building initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Non-medical prescriber (V300) qualification.
  • Recent A&E or AMU experience.
  • Critical care experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
