Role Summary
The IT Operations team plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of corporate IT services. This includes desktop engineering, on-premise and cloud virtualization, storage solutions, and network connectivity, while also serving as an escalation point for technical support.
We are seeking a highly skilled 3rd line engineer who excels in communication, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, understandable terms for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The successful candidate will participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours escalations and may be required to work early or late shifts. Occasional travel to remote offices may also be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
As an IT Operations Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting scheduled service checks
- Implementing service enhancements
- Managing escalations from other teams
- Overseeing planned and unplanned disaster recovery events
- Engaging in capacity management
- Collaborating with third parties and internal teams to resolve issues
- Performing additional duties as required to support business needs

Technical Requirements
- Experience with VMWare ESXi & VCenter
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
- Knowledge of storage technologies
- Familiarity with backup tools (Commvault experience preferred, training available)
- Experience with Azure AD, Office 365 & Intune
- Understanding of Windows Server environments
- Experience with Active Directory, Exchange Server, clustering, and file servers
- Knowledge of SMTP
- Familiarity with HPe hardware
- Understanding of network routing, 802.1x, and firewall configurations
