Daytime Kitchen Manager

Job Overview:

You will be responsible for running the day-to-day kitchen operations and managing a team of chefs and kitchen assistants. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, your key focus is to assist to drive the business forward. Your role will be to lead and develop your team, ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional standards within the kitchen, including cleanliness, food hygiene, health and safety and of course, working alongside your team to create great food on a daily basis to exacting brand specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service
  • Lead and develop a team of chefs and kitchen assistants
  • Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional standards within the kitchen
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, food hygiene, and health and safety
  • Work alongside the team to create great food on a daily basis

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Head Chef
  • Commercial acumen, including ordering and managing stock levels and controlling wastage
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements within a commercial kitchen
  • Food hygiene qualification at level 3

What We Offer:

  • 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis
