Job Title: Van Driver / Installer

Location: Birmingham, UK

Salary: £12.00 per hour, rising to £29,000 P/A after 3 years of service

Job Type: Full Time only

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Van Driver / Installation Engineer to join our team on a 12-week temporary to permanent position. As the face of our company, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining grease trap equipment and delivering it to different pubs, bars, and restaurants across mainland UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver, collect, service and maintain our clients' grease trap equipment in a timely and efficient manner
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
  • Communicate with clients and provide excellent customer service
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues ensuring constant communication with the office
  • Maintain & clean the company flatbed van daily
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet service and delivery targets
  • Work in teams of two a majority of the time

Key Requirements:

  • Clean driver's licence with one year's commercial driving experience in similar vehicles
  • An element of physical fitness due to some of the heavy lifting involved
  • Previous experience as a service engineer and/or installation engineer is preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the job
  • Attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately and on time
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when required
  • Willingness to travel to different locations all over the UK
