Corporate Counsel Opportunity

Beacon Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join its General Counsel's Office. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's contract lifecycle, including partnering with business units and leading contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business units to develop and implement contract strategies
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with legal and regulatory compliance, including managing IP rights and resolving disputes
  • Provide general legal support and advice to the company
Requirements
  • Admitted to practice law in Rhode Island or eligible to seek admission
  • Experience with negotiation of IT/SAAS contracts and knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy laws preferred
  • Able to clearly articulate complex ideas and resolve legal and business problems
