About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with their financial needs, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure their financial success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and review financial statements, forecasts, and budgets for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their financial needs are met.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and training to ensure their professional development and success.
  • Financial Advisory: Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on financial matters, including tax planning, financial planning, and business strategy.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • ACCA or ACA qualified or part qualified with a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record of working with clients in a practice environment.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software, including Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero.
  • Experience using software for accounts production, such as CCH.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage a team's workflow.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
