Quality Engineer Opportunity

At SF Recruitment, we are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our expanding team in the Engineering & Manufacturing division. This is a brand new role that offers high levels of autonomy and the opportunity to create quality management systems from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain ISO9001 compliance by ensuring the local QMS is up-to-date and effective.
  • Manage customer, supplier, and internal quality concerns, implementing and maintaining workable quality control systems and processes.
  • Resolve quality issues efficiently, using root cause analysis tools to identify and contain defects.
  • Develop and deliver quality standards training and activities to colleagues, promoting an inclusive quality culture.
  • Conduct site visits to investigate quality and product failures.
Requirements:
  • Experienced Quality professional with a strong track record in quality management.
  • Education to degree level in engineering or equivalent experience through an apprenticeship route.
  • Root cause analysis champion with experience using methodologies such as 8D.
  • Understanding of component manufacturing processes, with CNC manufacturing experience highly advantageous.
  • UK driving licence.
