About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Specialist Doctor to join our team at Enfield Acute Adult Inpatient Services, part of the North London Mental Health Partnership Trust.

As a Specialist Doctor in Adult Psychiatry, you will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, attending multidisciplinary team meetings, and engaging in Mental Health Act Assessments. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with various team members to deliver recovery-focused care that emphasizes individuals' strengths and future goals.

The role offers a wide range of psychiatric conditions within a multidisciplinary environment, providing exposure to various team members and delivering care that prioritizes individuals' well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical assessments of individuals with mental health issues, including mental state examination, history taking, and physical health examination.
  • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and engage in Mental Health Act Assessments.
  • Lead MDT meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
  • Work closely with various team members to deliver recovery-focused care that emphasizes individuals' strengths and future goals.
Requirements
  • Valid GMC registration.
  • Right to work in the UK (note: we do not offer sponsorship).
  • Minimum 6 months NHS experience.
  • Specialist Registration preferred but not essential.
