We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Development Nurse to lead our clinical governance and quality of care initiatives in Oxfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing nursing homes in the region and ensuring they meet the highest clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and support the performance of nursing homes in Oxfordshire to ensure they meet clinical governance and quality of care standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical governance and quality of care in nursing homes.
  • Work closely with Regional Directors, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to plan and implement key actions to address any issues and improve standards.
  • Organize training and development programs for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct clinical investigations and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (General).
  • Experience of working in a care home environment and as a clinical mentor.
  • Strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
  • Sharp analytical mind and ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver on action plans.
