Job Description

At Driver Provider UK, we strive to be the gold standard recruiter for the transport sector. We are currently seeking a skilled Class 2 HGV driver to join our team for multi-drop deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driving license, Driver CPC, and Tacho certification. You will be responsible for delivering goods to multi-site retailers, smaller local independent retailers and merchants, or house builders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute daily delivery routes, ensuring timely drops and efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct thorough checks on load items, security, and necessary equipment and paperwork before departure.
  • Unload goods at customer premises safely and efficiently, demonstrating a considerate and polite attitude towards the public.
  • Adhere to transport legislation and take regular breaks in accordance with rules in place.
  • Be aware of the legal load capacity of the vehicle to be driven.
