Job Description

Pertemps Kettering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Team Lead to join our team in the Food Manufacturing industry. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and production processes, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, food safety, and quality, and lead by example in all areas of the production process.
  • Manage Production Efficiency: Prioritize and manage production tasks to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all production processes and procedures are followed, and that all employees are trained and equipped to perform their roles safely and effectively.
  • Manage Team Performance: Monitor and manage the performance of your team, providing coaching and guidance as needed to ensure that production targets are met.
  • Collaborate with Technical Teams: Work closely with technical teams to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch records, quality control records, and production schedules.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in a production leadership role in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of food safety and quality procedures, including HACCP and GMP.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications in food science, manufacturing, or a related field.
