Job Title: Clinical Lead Dietician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Dietician to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert Nutrition and Dietetic services to our patients. As a Clinical Lead Dietician, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of dietitians, providing clinical leadership and expertise in Nutrition and Dietetics.

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the development and implementation of Nutrition and Dietetic services across the trust. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join us in this role.

About the Team

Our Nutrition and Dietetics department is a leading provider of Nutrition and Dietetic services in the UK. We have a team of over 60 dietitians working across three main sites, and we are committed to delivering excellence in clinical care, research, and teaching.

We are proud to be part of King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre, and we are committed to working collaboratively with our partners to deliver high-quality patient care and improve health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of dietitians, providing clinical leadership and expertise in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Develop and implement Nutrition and Dietetic services across the trust, working closely with our multidisciplinary team
  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Nutrition and Dietetic policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with our research team to develop and implement research projects in Nutrition and Dietetics
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Dietician who has:

HCPC registrationQualification in the area of specialisation or evidence of significant experience working to or at a Masters levelEvidence of extensive experience and proficiency working in Nutrition and Dietetics, with in-depth knowledge to expert level within a specialist area to include enteral and parenteral nutritionEvidence of suitable management skills developmentExperience of clinical research

You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
