Senior Nursery Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Flow Recruitment. As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of an allocated area or room within the nursery, ensuring that children are cared for in a happy, safe, and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of nursery professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children.
  • Develop and implement engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of children's all-round development.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver activities that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Conduct regular observations and assessments to track children's progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Early Years Education and Care.
  • Proven experience in a senior nursery practitioner role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and education.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, prioritizing the needs of children and the nursery.
