Job Title: Quantitative Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our team at RBC Global Asset Management (UK) Limited. As a Quantitative Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the activities around quantitative and data science spectrum, within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain front office tools, including dashboards and apps that showcase visualizations and quantitative analysis.
  • Understand the Quant data infrastructure and its integration with the firmwide infrastructure, including database queries and stored procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure, front office developers, and data teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
  • Conduct research on new data sources, statistical methods, and AI technologies to enhance our offering to the front office.
  • Build relationships with the front office, ensuring they are comfortable with the quality of our analyses and can approach them with ideas.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in R/Python/Matlab programming.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Experience with SQL or other database management systems (nice to have).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
