Job Opportunity:

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual to take on a lead role and become a technical expert within a specialist company at the forefront of an exciting industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design material handling and hoist products for clients using SOLIDWORKS CAD.
  • Manage a team of design engineers ensuring the products' functionality on a client-by-client basis.
  • Responsibility for all stress testing (FEA), liaison with customers/sales team, and fully costed estimates.
  • Occasional site travel and travel abroad dependent on orders.

Requirements:

  • Experience with SOLIDWORKS CAD including FEA and MathCAD or equivalent.
  • HNC/HND qualification or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of crane or lifting equipment beneficial.
  • Oil & Gas, Civil, Structural Steel background would be an advantage.
