Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Supervisor to oversee our operations.

Employment Type:
This is a permanent role with opportunities for advancement for the suitable candidate.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, from 6am to 4pm and 10am until completion, with potential Saturday shifts during peak times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Health and Safety protocols, ensuring compliance with driver regulations.
  • Oversee logistics operations, including the coordination of deliveries to clients and the receipt of materials, alongside handling invoices and documentation.
  • Generate regular reports on costs, logistics performance, and inventory status.
  • Develop staff schedules and rotas.
  • Perform various office and supervisory tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Exceptional communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations is required.
  • Proficient computer skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems; experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., Sage) is preferred.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, along with strong planning capabilities, are crucial.
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
  • Previous experience in stock management is necessary.
  • Experience in logistics operations is essential.
