Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a young person in a primary school setting. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to ensure the student receives a high-quality education and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a student with special educational needs
  • Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Support the student with daily living skills and personal care
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure consistency and continuity of support

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Psychology, Criminology, or Social Sciences
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
