Agricultural Residues Coordinator
RPS Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Agricultural Residues Coordinator to become a vital member of the Crop Residues Team. This full-time role is designed to support the Laboratory team and will report directly to the Crops Residues Manager.
The position encompasses a variety of responsibilities including managing client communications, sample documentation, scheduling of tasks, and drafting reports. A key focus will be on ensuring seamless project delivery and fostering effective communication within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify that all project requests are accompanied by the appropriate documentation and client specifications
- Input trial protocols and reports into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Accurately register samples within the system
- Review and authorize project requests
- Engage with clients to address inquiries
- Provide clients with updates on project status
- Assist in the sub-sampling and transportation of samples
- Procure necessary materials for analysis
- Support the drafting of reports and preliminary quotations
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations
- Maintain quality documentation in accordance with ISO 17025 standards
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Background in scientific disciplines or relevant experience
- Capability to work autonomously with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in a dynamic work environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with LIMS software is advantageous
