Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Drainage Design Engineer to become a pivotal member of our Transportation division. This role involves overseeing the successful execution of a diverse range of projects while adhering to established standards, timelines, and budgetary guidelines.

Location: Flexible working arrangements available, with occasional office attendance required.

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from £43,000 to £50,000, along with private healthcare and additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Drainage Design Engineer, your expertise will be crucial in managing highway drainage projects, while also integrating knowledge of water utilities and local flood authority regulations. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Leading technically complex projects and providing innovative solutions.
  • Coordinating daily tasks and resources effectively to meet project goals.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and project controls set by the team and organization.
  • Assisting in the preparation of fee estimates and project timelines, while monitoring progress and managing necessary changes.
  • Supporting the development and well-being of the design team.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the Senior Drainage Design Engineer position will possess:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Membership in a relevant engineering institution.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • A proactive and dedicated approach to project delivery and team development.
