We are seeking a highly skilled Project Planning Specialist to join our dynamic team at Collins Aerospace. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and executing projects that drive business growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, including project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements.
- Monitor and report project progress, and make adjustments as needed to ensure project stays on track.
- Provide project metrics and analysis to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in project planning and execution, preferably in an operations or material planning environment.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
