About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Lead to join our team at Whiteparish Surgery. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for the effective management and direction of our administrative functions, ensuring all duties are performed to the required standard and meeting the objectives of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct the administration team to ensure efficient and effective performance of administrative duties.
  • Support the management team in promoting quality and continuous improvement, confidentiality, collaborative working, service delivery, learning and development.
  • Oversee all administrative functions, including but not limited to: child immunisation targets, referrals, cytology, Links, online applications, recall and annual review programmes, coding, summarizing, tasks, non-NHS work, movement of records, and answering queries.
  • Work with the practice manager to produce performance and quality standards within the administrative team.
  • Lead the team through future development of admin processes.
Person Specification

Essential

  • Experience of working in an office environment.
  • Experience of Primary Care from an operational and administrative perspective.
  • A developed understanding of customer care.
  • An understanding and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality.

Desirable

  • Experience of SystmOne clinical system.
  • Experience of supervising other staff.
  • A knowledge of HR legislation.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Numeracy and literacy skills to GCSE Level C or above (equivalents accepted).
