Key Responsibilities:- Ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods, adhering to company procedures and regulations.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation, including delivery records and vehicle checks.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to maintain knowledge and skills, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Report any incidents or damage to equipment or machinery, ensuring prompt corrective action.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain the security and integrity of goods carried, adhering to company standards.
- Participate in projects and initiatives, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
- Promote Sims Limited's values and mission to colleagues, customers, and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular vehicle checks, ensuring roadworthiness and taking corrective action as necessary.
- Comply with all company policies, including Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Community.
- Clean HGV Licence Class 1, Digital Tachograph card, and full driver CPC entitlement.
- Previous experience in HGV driving, with bulk material driving experience preferred.
- Strong logistical and geographical knowledge, with excellent writing skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel, with occasional overnight stays.
