Job Title: Cleaner (6 hours)

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at South Ayrshire Council. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of designated areas within our school and council premises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake cleaning tasks as part of a team to ensure designated areas are kept clean and hygienic.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and quality of work.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Grade 1 Level 1 qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act. The preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update if already a Scheme Member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
