Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technicians to join our team in Ontario. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgeries and patient examinations
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results to inform patient care decisions
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with veterinarians and other healthcare team members
  • Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, responding to their questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary care techniques and technologies

Requirements

  • Completion of a two-year diploma in a Veterinary Technician program, eligible to register with OAVT
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, pet owners, and other healthcare team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a variety of situations
