Electronic Arts Inc. is a global leader in interactive entertainment. Our in-house game engine, Frostbite, is a cutting-edge platform that enables the creation of immersive gaming experiences. We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished PhD student to join our team as a Software Engineer Intern and contribute to the development of outstanding physics technology for consoles, PC, iOS, and Android.

You will work closely with our experienced engineering team to design, develop, and optimize software solutions, leveraging your expertise in physics, maths, and programming. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in game engine development and collaborate with global teams.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in simulation of physical systems, such as physics, maths, mechanical/space engineering, robotics, astrophysics, computer science, or quantum biology. Proficiency in C++ programming and experience in games, physics, graphics, and numerical simulations are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions for physics technology
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize and refine software performance
  • Contribute to the development of game engine features and tools
  • Work with global teams to integrate physics technology into games

Requirements:
