Role Responsibilities:
As the Lead Financial Planning Manager, you will be instrumental in steering financial operations and executing strategic financial initiatives to ensure the enduring financial health of a specialized sector within the company. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasts
- Identifying opportunities to enhance profitability and cash flow
- Advising senior leadership on necessary operational adjustments
- Ensuring timely completion of monthly and year-end financial statements
- Collaborating with Commercial and Operational Directors to meet financial targets
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a background in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Manufacturing. This role demands a high level of technical accounting expertise, so confidence in your skill set is essential.
As a key player within the organization, you will engage with various stakeholders, making your role highly visible. A professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACA, or ACCA is required, along with a proven history of managing costs, enhancing profitability, and executing budgeting and forecasting processes.
Proficiency in MRP systems and Excel is essential, and familiarity with standard costing practices is a must.
