Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with neurological difficulties and their families, and will be passionate about delivering high-quality psychological services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide direct psychological services to clients, conducting and interpreting a wide range of assessment procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to clients and their families.
  • Conduct research and publish findings to contribute to the development of evidence-based practices in brain injury rehabilitation.
  • Supervise junior staff and psychology students, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff and other professionals.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
  • Up-to-date HCPC registration or eligibility for registration.
  • Experience working with individuals with cognitive impairments and acquired brain injury.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and services.
