Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate products in accordance with established certification protocols.
- Assess assembly accuracy.
- Evaluate the surface finish of components to identify any defects or deterioration.
- Conduct inspections for any physical damages.
- Perform intermediate inspection checks not related to product certification.
- Supervise product certification personnel.
- Complete and verify all documentation associated with the manufacturing data pack.
- Manage defective items by segregating them from acceptable products.
- Generate and maintain necessary data records and defect reports.
- Create relevant inspection and quality control documentation, including history sheets.
- Utilize specialized inspection tools with care.
- Uphold product certification and approval through regular audits.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
- Meet established inspection timelines.
- Demonstrate a diverse skill set capable of being applied across various tasks.
- Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and product quality.
- Foster a safe working environment.
- Adhere to good housekeeping practices.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal technical engineering or craft apprenticeship, achieving NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 or HNC.
- Extensive experience in a skilled role.
- IPC 610 certification or training is preferred.
Due to the sensitive nature of this position, candidates must possess or be eligible for SC clearance.
