Software Chief Engineer

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of technical expertise and leadership skills. As the Software Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall technical direction and delivery of software projects at Dana.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the technical development of software projects, ensuring they meet customer requirements and are delivered on time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, and quality assurance, to ensure software development aligns with company goals.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including software requirements, design documents, and test plans.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop software solutions that meet their requirements.
- Lead the development of software testing strategies and ensure that software meets quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure software development aligns with cybersecurity best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on automotive software.
- Proven track record of leading software development teams and delivering complex software projects.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and A-SPICE.
- Experience with AUTOSAR development flow and tools, such as Mathworks, Electrobit, and Vector.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
