Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Clinical Expertise: Provide clinical leadership and expertise to patients, colleagues, and stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  2. Integrated Care Development: Assist in the development of an integrated approach to patient care, involving all relevant stakeholders, including health and social care organizations.
  3. Telephone Assessment and Clinical Support: Provide telephone assessment and clinical support to patients, including assessing and treating medical conditions, and providing clinical expertise to colleagues.
  4. Policy and Procedure Development: Contribute to the development and evaluation of clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  5. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain accurate patient records, ensure effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders, and work collaboratively with interpreters and link workers to support non-English speaking patients.
  6. Education and Training: Contribute to data gathering for quality improvement initiatives, undertake training for specific clinical tasks, and participate in the development and implementation of standards and audit activities.
  7. Professional Development: Maintain active NMC registration, adhere to organizational policies, and ensure confidentiality at all times.
