Job Description

Job Title: Private Sector Housing Officer

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 6 months

Rate: Negotiable Per/Hour (Inside IR35)

A reputable Local Authority client of g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Private Sector Housing Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating Private Sector Housing related issues within the neighbourhood, conducting routine visits, and responding to enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate Private Sector Housing related issues
  • Conduct routine visits to properties
  • Respond to enquiries from clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve Private Sector Housing matters
  • Carry out alternative Housing related tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Recent Local Authority experience working across Housing
  • On-site inspection skills
  • Proficiency in using IDOX uniform software
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
