Job Summary
We're looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team and work on improving the profitability of the company through new data sources and advanced modeling techniques. This role will involve working on end-to-end data science projects, from ideation to production deployment, and measuring the benefits through A/B testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners to enhance processes using new data and sophisticated ML techniques.
- Manage projects from inception to deployment, including benefit assessment.
- Uphold and improve standards for code quality, R&D, and model development.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Data Engineers to deploy ML models on AWS.
- Provide mentorship to peers and partners on potential actions and impacts.
- Develop Python code adhering to standard processes, CI/CD, and test coverage.
Requirements
We're looking for someone with a strong background in machine learning, computer science, statistics, or a related field. You should have demonstrable experience in applying, researching, and developing sophisticated statistical/ML methods to drive value in a commercial setting. Additionally, you should be proficient in Python, have knowledge of OO programming, software design, SOLID principles, and testing practices, and be familiar with Agile methodologies.
