Job Title: Associate Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at RED Engineering Design. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical design solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for various building types, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, drawings, and reports to support project delivery.
  • Conduct site surveys, tests, and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Represent the company at technical meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all engineering calculations and drawings meet the required industry and legal standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
Requirements:
  • BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • MCIBSE/MIEE or equivalent certification.
  • Chartered Engineer status.
  • Significant experience in mechanical design, preferably in a consulting or construction environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Good understanding of international working and business operations of a global consultancy.
