The successful candidate will be responsible for providing health and safety advice and guidance, ensuring compliance with HSE legislation, and managing inherent risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

  • Manage and investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar HSE role, with a strong understanding of HSE legislation and regulations.
  • IOSH- or NEBOSH-qualified, with a Level 5 or higher qualification in Managing Health and Safety.
  • Experience in managing a wide range of HSE risks, including those related to manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends, with a focus on continuous improvement.
