As a Psychological Wellbeing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the organization, collaborating with the Specialist Support team to oversee the Enhanced Psychological Support (EPS) services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert guidance within the specialist support team, ensuring adherence to internal policies and clinical governance.
- Working closely with clinical support staff and administrative personnel to manage your caseload effectively.
- Engaging one-on-one with clients to develop tailored treatment plans and workplace recommendations based on their specific needs and your professional insights.
- Conducting initial risk assessments when necessary to determine if immediate support is required.
- Maintaining consistency in risk management and safeguarding practices across teams, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and current.
- Contributing to the professional development of staff, including delivering training sessions for the specialist support team.
- Assisting the risk and safeguarding manager in reviewing and updating internal risk protocols.
Key qualifications include:
- Strong awareness of current issues in counselling and psychotherapy.
- Proficient IT skills, including familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, in various settings.
- A proactive attitude with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Outstanding organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Experience in an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) setting is desirable.
