Role Overview

£12.24 per hour plus service charge.

Our café serves as the lively core of our establishment. Located on the ground floor, it is a bustling hub where we offer premium Italian coffee, tea, freshly baked pastries, and gelato. As a Café Service Expert, you will operate manual coffee machines and create exceptional beverages for our valued customers. Our café proudly partners with Illy, Eataly's official coffee supplier throughout Europe.

Key Responsibilities...

  • Craft and serve authentic Italian espresso, coffee, and a variety of café beverages.
  • Deliver outstanding service and share product knowledge, including coffee blends and preparation methods.
  • Assist with cash register duties as required, taking orders and processing transactions.
  • Ensure the café is well-stocked with all necessary supplies.

Candidate Requirements

Shifts for this position will be scheduled between 6am and 11pm, so flexibility to cover various shifts is essential. We do not provide fixed shifts, so successful candidates must be available for flexible scheduling.

Experience with manual coffee machines is a crucial requirement for this role.

  • Demonstrated experience as a Barista in a high-volume setting with manual coffee equipment is essential.
  • A friendly and engaging personality focused on creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Willingness to work mornings, evenings, bank holidays, and weekends.
  • Availability for flexible shifts between 6am and 11pm, as we cannot guarantee fixed schedules.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
