We are seeking a dedicated Fund Manager to become a vital part of the Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) Credit Team in London.
In this role, you will co-manage dynamic global fixed income portfolios alongside the lead fund manager. Your responsibilities will include conducting credit research as necessary and supporting RLAM's marketing initiatives, particularly focusing on Sustainable investment strategies.
You will work collaboratively with various teams within the Client Group and Compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Additionally, you will partner with a counterpart within the Royal London Group to maintain a robust procedural framework that is consistently applied across both teams.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join RLAM as we embark on a new phase of growth and international outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-manage global investment-grade portfolios.
- Enhance and maintain knowledge of RLAM's Sustainable processes, ensuring that Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risks are integrated into the construction and management of client portfolios. Collaborate with RLAM's Responsible Investment team and other Sustainable stakeholders.
- Work alongside the Quants Manager to support global investment-grade strategies.
- Ensure compliance with IMA constraints and investment policies while developing a thorough understanding of RLAM's portfolio risk systems.
- Contribute to investment decisions within the RLAM Fixed Income team and broaden your knowledge of credit and the wider fixed interest markets.
Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of fixed income markets, particularly global investment-grade.
- Proficient in data systems such as Bloomberg, Aladdin, Power BI, and Excel.
- Familiarity with derivatives is advantageous.
- Commitment to pursuing relevant qualifications that are essential for the role.
- Aptitude for financial analysis and a desire to develop comprehensive fund management skills.
- Passion for Sustainable investing.
