Adobe Experience Manager Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AEM Developer to join our team at Cognizant Netcentric. As a key member of our digital experience team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
About the Role
- Develop and maintain AEM-based projects, ensuring high-quality and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and define technical solutions.
- Design and implement RESTful Web Services, leveraging Java and Web technologies.
- Ensure adherence to web security best practices and guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews and pair programming to maintain high-quality code.
- Contribute to testing at all levels, including unit, integration, functional, and performance testing.
- Work with task management, bug tracking, and wiki-based documentation tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in an international organization and environment.
- Extensive experience in AEM-based projects, with a deep understanding of AEM's underlying technology stack (OSGi, JCR, and Apache Sling).
- Strong knowledge of Java and Web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with AEM on-premise and as Cloud Service.
- Experience developing RESTful Web Services and knowledge of web security.
- Strong capacity to identify requirements and define technical solutions.
- On-site work is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Familiarity with building tools, including Maven.
- Knowledge of version control tools, especially Git.
- Knowledge of patterns and good practices to design and develop quality and clean code.
- Additional language skills in Spanish would be an asset.
- Eligibility to work within the EU and/or Switzerland.
