Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage ecological projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of results.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated ecological services, including habitat regulation assessments, EPSL applications, and EcIA chapters.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and project coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes and company performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Ecological Consultant or equivalent role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality ecological services.
  • Advanced knowledge of ecology, legislation, and survey techniques, with expertise in one or more specialist areas.
  • Protected species licenses and a clean, valid UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
