About the Role

We are seeking a skilled RF Engineer to join our team at Forefront RF. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing application-specific Integrated Passive Devices (IPDs) for our trailblazing RF system in a package products.

Your focus will be on the conception and evolution of IPDs, including the design and modeling of inductors, transformers, couplers, and capacitors on various substrates. You will work closely with our full engineering team to incorporate and enhance performance-critical passive RF components within our RF system.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Development: Design inductors, transformers, couplers, and capacitors on various substrates, with a focus on optimization for Q, Component Value, Size, etc.
  2. 3D Modeling: Create 3D models of the designed components to facilitate better understanding and further development.
  3. EM Simulations: Conduct EM simulations to test the performance and reliability of the designed components.
  4. Simulation Models Creation: Develop simulation models that can be utilized by other RF designers for optimizing structures such as filters.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with other RF designers, providing them with the necessary models and simulations for their work.
  6. Documentation: Document all stages of the design and development process for future reference and patent applications.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in RF engineering, particularly in the design of IPDs.
  • Skills: Proficiency in 3D modeling and EM simulations, strong understanding of RF principles and the design of passive components, excellent collaboration and communication skills.
