Swimming Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher to join our team at Life Leisure. As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and safe swimming lessons for different age groups and skill levels.
  • Create lesson plans tailored to the needs and abilities of individual students or groups.
  • Conduct in-water demonstrations of proper swimming techniques and water safety skills.
  • Modify lessons for students with physical or cognitive disabilities to ensure inclusivity and safe participation.
  • Ensure the safety of all students during lessons and enforce water safety protocols.
  • Track and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and progress reports using CoursePro.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 swimming teacher qualification.
  • Knowledge of teaching all ages and abilities.
  • A genuine passion for swimming and water-based activities.
  • A desire to encourage lifelong participation.
  • The ability to be well-planned and work to deadlines and targets.
