About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as an Associate Mechanical Engineer. As a key member of our mechanical services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: You will be responsible for the delivery of multi-million-pound projects, working closely with clients and project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Client Management: You will be the primary point of contact for clients, attending project meetings and disseminating project briefs to the project team.
  • Team Leadership: You will supervise the development of initial strategic concepts for projects and work closely with the team leader to monitor fee expenditure, resources, and work delivered.
  • Business Development: You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge Sharing: You will work closely with the Firm-wide Science & Research Group to gain experience and understanding from others and to support and disseminate knowledge to others in the Firm.
Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer: You should be a Chartered Engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience: You should have at least 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects.
  • Design Experience: You should have suitable design experience in the building services sectors.
  • Communication Skills: You should be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with excellent client communication skills.
  • Project Management: You should have experience of managing projects from start to finish, with a strong understanding of project needs and delivery.
  • People Management: You should have experience of people management, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
