About the Role

This part-time position involves working with a pupil in year 4 who requires individual support due to social and emotional needs. The successful candidate will deliver the pre-planned curriculum, scaffolding the content to engage the child. The role requires a proactive approach to supporting children with SEND, patience, and resilience. Key duties include providing teaching resources, interpreting plans, and promoting activities to aid natural curiosity and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Prior experience working with children is not necessary, but a genuine passion for the role is essential.
  • Prior experience in schools is desirable but not essential.
  • An enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service is required.
  • A legal right to work in the UK is necessary.

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
