About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Operations Manager to join our team at Symmetry Recruitment. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of construction sites in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and directing site staff and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project execution
  • Working closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Conducting site audits and inductions, and providing regular updates to stakeholders
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction site management and coordination
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients
  • Commercial fit-out experience, preferably in warehouses and offices
  • Experience with health and safety management, including risk assessments and method statements
  • Qualifications such as SMSTS, Emergency First Aid, and Temporary Works Coordinator/Superintendent
