About the Role

We are seeking an Aspiring Educational Therapist to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment. The successful candidate will work closely with students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, providing dedicated support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold 1:1 and group interventions to help improve students' academic and social growth
  • Provide dedicated support to SEN/SEMH pupils both inside and outside the classroom
  • Work closely alongside the classroom teacher and SENCO to monitor pupils and devise action plans to aid in their social and academic growth
Requirements
  • Hold a 1st class or 2:1 in a relevant degree from a reputable university
  • Have a driven passion for working with young people and seeing them succeed
  • Previous experience working alongside SEN/SEMH needs is desirable
  • Be a hard-working and driven individual who can work collaboratively within a wider team
